WHAT TO EXPECT.

We are a small venue in the suburb of Ainslie in Canberra. We are open Tuesday - Saturday evenings and Saturday and Sunday Lunch. We offer the Pilot. Menu each night and shorter Lunch Set on Saturdays and Sundays. We do not offer an a la carte menu. Any guests booked in the restaurant are required to dine on the Pilot. or Lunch Set Menu. This includes children of all ages. We do not have high chairs.

The Pilot. Menu is a 7 course degustation menu priced at $150pp. It is a selection of nostalgic flavours, complex dishes and produce that we are excited by. Occasionally we do offer extra optional courses as well. You also have the option for a full alcoholic pairing or non alcoholic pairing to accompany your menu, prices are below. If you are not interested in pairing we welcome you to a selection of beverages from our all Australian wine and spirits list.

We do not encourage BYO but if you would like to drink that special bottle corkage is currently $60 per bottle. 
Please note all reservations on a public holiday incur a 10% service fee, and all card transactions incur a surcharge passed on from the provider.

DIETARY REQUIREMENTS

We do ask when booking to let us know of any allergies or dietary requirements you or your guests may have. Most dietaries can be catered for given the requirements fit within our style of menu and we have at least 24 hours notice. Please note guests that require a no seafood option will have a vegetarian substitute. If you do surprise us on the night with a dietary requirement we may not always be able to arrange alternate dishes and some courses may be cut.

CAPACITY RESTRICTIONS + BOOKING POLICY

As we are a small venue and do not have a waiting area we do ask to not arrive early for your booking. In the same respect we do ask that earlier tables are vacated within two hours of the booking time as this can be quite difficult to explain on the night. If you or your guests are more than 15 minutes late we will need to start the meal or courses may be cut in order to keep to the timing of the venue and other guests.

Credit card details are required to secure your booking. No charge will be made prior to your visit, however a $140 per person cancellation fee may apply for late cancellation within 48hrs from the booking, reduction in diner numbers and no shows. If you do need to cancel outside of 48hrs there will be no charge.

CANCELLATIONS

If you or your guests are feeling unwell please stay home. If you are unable to attend due to illness or unforeseen circumstances during the late cancelation period a charge will be made and a gift voucher will be issued. We appreciate your understanding.
